Sails, spars and rigging

 

Sea Bunny has a masthead sloop rig witn the ability to set twin headsails for prolonged downwind passages.  She also carries storm jib, trysail, cruising chute (MPS) and spinnaker


Spars and rigging

Silver anodised Masthead sloop rig by SELDEN with two pairs of spreaders and stainless steel standing rigging (forestay 2002, rest of standing rig 2008).

Mast steps to upper spreaders (2001)

Slab reefing (3 reefs) to main controlled at mast base

Carbon fibre spinnaker pole (new 2001) mounted on mast.

Second (alloy) spinnaker pole on deck mounts with separate car on track for twin pole operation.

Separate track on mast for trysail.

Reckman twin groove furling and reefing on forestay.

Additional removable forestay for storm jib.

Frederiksen ball slide cars on main track.

Lazy jack system including mainsail cover
